- AKC considers the Border Terrier as the “Best of Breed” Earthdog. Earthdog trials are competitions imitating hunting situations, to find out how much the breeds have their hunting instincts.
- Although most terrier breeds are the opposite, Border Terriers are usually very sociable with other dogs
- Border Terriers are the happiest when they have a job to do!
